An inexpensive vehicle may not justify a costly full inspection. Start with identity, photographs, registration and seller information; escalate to accident, mechanical or battery checks when the risk warrants it.

Official export requirements
A buyer’s optional pre-purchase condition check is not the same as the third-party product inspection report required for covered used-car export licence applications in China. Skipping an optional check does not remove the export requirement.
One common question
Does inspection guarantee a fault-free vehicle?
No. An inspection reduces uncertainty within its stated scope but cannot reveal every defect or predict future reliability.
